On Sunday the 3rd of November, Haberfield Public School held the Haberfest community festival – a day of celebrating the school, its students and the local community.
It was a fabulous event, with fun stalls set up by local businesses celebrating their contributions to the Haberfield community. There were workshops for children and adults to make exciting things, games and rides, live performances showcasing local talent in music and dance, food stalls and a community marketplace filled treasures.
The day was full of fun and the joy of coming together to share what we love about our work, about Haberfield and our local community.
Dr Rachel Mascord’s Dental Care team held a market stall and boy did we have a day of epic fun, with loads of play, sharing gifts and making beautiful connections. We met many wonderful people from Haberfield and close-by suburbs.
300 plus bags of colourful toothbrushes and toothbrushing timers were given away, along with brushing charts to inspire children to keep their smiles sparkling clean. We also gave away tooth fairy boxes for children to put their 'baby' teeth into.
Our tooth toys were a huge hit with the children who played ‘being dentist’ with more enthusiasm than we dreamed possible! We reckon that we might have inspired more than a few to think about becoming dentists in the future. The colouring in was also a big hit – turns out that everyone loves glitter glue!
Huge thanks to Haberfield P&C for inviting us to be a part of this wonderful,
fun-filled day.
And thank you to the people who came to our stall, to chat, to play, to colour-in and enjoy the special and beautiful time together.
How adorable! Best showbags and gifts for kids ever!
